Specialised Care
We support people through different stages of ageing with a focus on quality of life. Our workforce includes qualified, experienced and skilled carers who specialise in personalised care for older people who have complex care needs.
Dementia Care
We understand that people living with dementia each have different wants and needs.
Whether it be providing them with clinical care or communicating with them, we have a person-centred approach that puts the resident’s needs first.
At Ibis Care we have worked with dementia care experts to design their living spaces and activity programs, to allow us to give the most appropriate care to those living with dementia.
Memory support areas in the homes are designed to be stimulating with individual activity programs, homely with familiar scents, and safe for wandering.
Our dementia care staff are trained to give residents personal attention and joyful experiences.
Palliative Care
Our palliative care program supports people to live a full life as comfortably as possible.
Palliative care includes many elements that allows for individual choice for pain and symptom management, advance care planning and support and advice to carers.
With end-of-life care that has a sole focus on the person, our team of palliative care specialists are compassionate and are there for the person and family every step of the way.
Palliative care may involve many health professionals such as doctors, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers, nurses, and psychologists.

Frequently Asked Questions Specialised Care
What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care is person and family-centred care provided for a person with an active, progressive, advanced disease, who has little or no prospect of cure for whom the primary goal is to optimise the quality-of-life.
Is Palliative Care only provided as end-of-life treatment?
Palliative care is not only care provided in the final stages of life. It will help you to live well with a terminal illness. Sometimes palliative care can be of benefit for a person at their initial diagnosis of a life-limiting health condition, or be useful on and off through various stages of an illness. Many people have long-term interactions with their palliative care team, seeing them during the course of their illness.
